ABOUT
Allison springer

Allison Springer is a top level FEI Three Day Eventer with an extensive history of dedication to horse welfare and safety in the sport. Allison is a USPC graduate A, an ambassador for Brooke USA (brookeusa.org) , and has served on many USEF and USEA committees. Arthur was Allison's most notable partner, together they were Alternates for both US Olympic and World Championship Teams.

Arthur was my horse of a lifetime. I bought him as a skittish and talented four year old and the two of us grew up and accomplished many great things together. When it was time for him to retire, there was a lot of anxiety for me in deciding the next steps for him to live out his beautiful life - at the time I did not own my farm. While I was able to find a nice retirement farm for him and I visited him often, I have always felt a heartbreak in that he wasn’t under my care in his final days.

When my partner, Dave, and I first saw Millwood Farm I immediately thought of my Arthur and how I wished I could have retired him on this beautiful farm at home with us. I knew I wanted to create a perfect situation for our aging equine friends and their human best friends to put all those anxieties to rest.
